I am a retired law enforcement officer originally from northern California and enjoy working with emergency responders, veterans, medical and legal professionals, and many others. I am currently the clinical director of Higher Ground Counseling and hold Master's degrees in counseling psychology and public administration.
I work from an Augustinian philosophy of life, purpose, and change, providing counseling for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have helped people overcome depression, anxiety, life stressors, parenting difficulties, marital problems, grief, and trauma. I am a Clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). I hold life memberships in the International Honor Society in Social Sciences (Pi Gamma Mu) and the International honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi). Whether caused by stress, trauma, loss, family problems, or something else, life can knock us down. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to pursue the life we'd like to have and prevents us from getting back up on our feet. Life is hard. If you currently find yourself in this situation, we may be able to help. Please give us a call. |
